From a European collection, formed before 2005.

It is tempting to attribute this seal to the empress Sabina, wife of Hadrian (117-138), especially when we consider that the matrix was engraved with a regnal or city year. However, the woman depicted has a hairstyle that does not match the known portraits of the empress Sabina. She does resemble the portrayal of the Antonine empresses
